Controverse
A bold visual tension between emotion and control
120 × 400 cm
47.27 × 157.48 inch
Controverse explores the tension between emotion and control through scale, movement and restraint.
The elongated format stretches the composition across the wall, allowing the work to unfold over distance and time rather than presenting itself all at once.
Ink and acrylic interact throughout the painting.
Ink moves freely — transparent, unpredictable, unresolved — while acrylic introduces structure through bold lines and sharper edges. Each layer holds space for contrast: flow and interruption, openness and containment.
Dripping techniques and fine linear elements create rhythm without excess. The gestures recall action painting, yet remain deliberate and composed.
The result is a work that balances intensity with control, movement with pause.
Controversedoes not offer conclusions.
It invites the viewer to remain within contradiction — between surrender and structure, vulnerability and strength — and to allow both to coexist.
A large-scale work for interiors and collections that value presence, honesty and emotional complexity.
